Coach Cory Krist

Cory has been an avid Triathlete and Coach for over 20 years. Cory graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree and quickly discovered his passion for coaching, health, fitness, and recreation. During his time at university, Cory swam for 4 years on the varsity swim team and was the team captain his senior year. He spent 6 years as an age-group swim club coach, the Head Coach of the Brock Niagara Masters Swim Club and various youth triathlon clubs. Before moving to Kelowna, Cory also worked as a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist in the private fitness industry.

Cory moved to Kelowna to take on the position of General Manager at the H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre from 2009 to 2019. During that time Cory has been coaching the Kelowna Triathlon Club for the past 8 years and has now made the jump to full-time Coach. Cory is now the Head Coach of the Kelowna Triathlon Club, Okanagan Master Swim Club and the Ogopogo Swim Club. Cory has also been a Personal Online Coach for the past decade and has worked with hundreds of athletes with ambitious goals like you!

As a competitive age group athlete, Cory has competed in over 100 triathlons dating back to 2001, including 9 Ironmans. Cory has many National and Provincial championships under his belt and continues to strive for success in the sport while maintaining a family/work/life/training balance.

Coach Colin Wallace

Colin’s passion is athletics. He has been a competitive athlete for over 25 years, a certified athletic therapist since 2009 and has been a coach since 2010. He has run varsity cross country and track and field for the University of Western Ontario (now called Western University) and the University of British Columbia – Okanagan. Colin has numerous podium finishes in cross country, track and field and triathlon races and qualified for the 2012 Canadian Track and Field Championships and Olympic Trials in the 10,000m
 
Colin has worked with athletes that have qualified for the Boston marathon, represented their province at Canada Summer Games, and won Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association national team titles! Colin has worked with athletes with a range of experience, from beginners to veterans, and his primary goal is to help each and every athlete achieve their very best, no matter the event they are training for.
