KTC Run Program

Spring Program

The KTC Spring Program will be focusing on improving your Sprint and Standard Race Pace (Threshold Pace), during the Spring Training Block. With no early season racing, the goal now is to have you run your fastest 5K by the end of this session! You will also focus on building Aerobic Endurance and most importantly, INJURY PREVENTION! 

  • A mix of trail, track, and road workouts.
  • Cherry Blossom Race Simulation and 5K PB Attempt.
  • Workout progression designed to achieve a 5K PB!
  • Triathlon-specific skills like Transitions, Fueling & Pacing.
  • Good company to suffer with or kill time on those long runs!

Session Duration: 12 Weeks

Session Dates: March 29th to June 13th, 2021

Workout Schedule:

  • Mondays – 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Wednesdays – 9:00 AM – 10:30 PM
  • Saturdays – 8:30 AM – Finish
