KTC Swim Program

Winter Program 2022

We’ve had a great build up to finish off 2021. Starting with technique back in September, then moving into some endurance and pacing work, and finishing off with a touch of speed before heading into 2022. Kicking off January 2022, we’re going to revisit some technical work while we welcome a few new members to the club. As we progress through January, you’ll see a bit more endurance and muscular endurance work enter the program. Towards the end of this session, we’ll be starting to focus on race pace efforts and strategies to ensure you’re ready to go for those early spring events!

All ability levels are welcome but you should be able to swim a few 50m repeats without stopping… but they don’t have to be pretty 😉 That’s what we’re here for!

Recommended Equipment:

  • Fins (short training fins)
  • Paddles
  • Swim Snorkel

Swim Workout Options:

Tuesday & Thursday Mornings/Afternoon (2 Swims per Week. Short Course – 25m)

  • 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM 
  • 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM   


Saturday Mornings (1 Swim per Week. Long Course – 50m)

  • 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM


*You can choose to just swim on Tuesday & Thursdays, just swim on Saturday, OR, Swim all three days!
